Emma jayne creative wins best Independent Graphic Designer of the Year at the South West Prestige Awards.
After tentatively starting up my freelance business 4 years ago, as a way of getting back to a career I loved, but with no actual idea how it would go (as a self confessed hide-behind-the-scenes type), I can't tell you how much this means, especially after such a tough year for everyone.
I’ve worked with so many local businesses since then and it’s absolutely fantastic to be able to help people in my local community. I cannot tell you how much it means to be recognised as doing great things within my industry, especially during such a difficult year for all!
Presented at Escot House in Ottery Saint Mary, the Corporate Livewire South West England Prestige Awards 2020/21 recognise small and medium-sized businesses that have proven to be the best in their market over the past 12 months.
All shortlisted companies are asked to support their nomination with evidence of their work, positive feedback from their clients, information on previous accreditations and recognition as well as highlighting the most outstanding parts of their businesses.
The independent judging panel, made up of select industry experts, base their decisions upon areas such as service excellence, quality of the product/ service provided, innovative practices, value, ethical or sustainable methods of working, as well as consistency in performance. The winners selected are those who can best demonstrate their strengths in these areas.
Emma Jayne creative specialises in print design, particularly branding, literature, stationery and banners, and works with businesses locally, nationally and in the past couple of years, internationally too.
With everything that’s been going on in the world lately, I am finding lots of people are taking their chance and setting up their own businesses, so it’s been pretty busy with new branding projects!
People realise that getting their branding right first time is absolutely crucial in attracting the right customers to the business and people are embracing that with lots of exciting startup projects.
I can't wait to see what the rest of the year will bring and look forward to getting stuck into lots more exciting projects!
