About Me

"I'm Emma, and I'm the owner of Emma jayne creative. I started up my freelance graphic design business following ten years of working in creative agencies in Bristol and Bath, to allow me to work around my young family. This allowed me to return to my wonderful home town of Weston-super-Mare in North Somerset, which I absolutely love!

My passion for design started before I even knew what Graphic Design was – as a child I was creating 'magazines' and 'flyers', moving the elements around the page and designing the headings so they looked 'just so' on our home computer. I'm absolutely certain that this is the career I was meant to be doing, and I'm so glad that I continued along that path into college and university to bring me where I am today!

I'm often learning a new skill in my spare time, be it a language, craft or something crazy like somersaulting on a trampoline! (In fact, I'm a qualified trampoline coach too!)

I think it's really important to know who you're dealing with and to be able to speak directly to the designer, allowing them to build a relationship with you and your business. That's why I'm the one who you'll get at the end of the phone, or on the other end of an email.

I'm not the loudest person in the room, but I prefer to make an impact by the work I produce, and setting the standard when it comes to following through on communication, delivering what I say I will, and generally giving my all to every project.
